Nicholas graduated from Columbia University in the City of New York in 1972 with a Masters degree in Business Administration. Since then he has been a director and substantial shareholder in a number of quoted companies. He joined Georgica in September 2000, and was the executive deputy chairman. He was appointed to the board of Essenden on 16th March 2009.
